Very subjective I know, but........

......colour coded or black? I'm just finishing off (that's a laugh, do we ever) and was wondering what you guys think of colour coded vent covers or black (gloss?) I'm putting a stainless side wing cover on and sprayed up an old blank cover tonight as I thought colured top ones would look tidy but now I'm not so sure?

Black without a doubt ! Colour coded will just look naff

well im on my own here but i like them colour coded unless your arches are black, in that case, match the arches.

See, you're not on your own Mick, the missus likes em colour coded, although now they're like new and black she likes that as well. Problem is, she saw it tonight and said..."makes the grill and headlamp surrounds look a bit dull now" So...where does it all end?!

Like you said in your opening post, you will never finish.

I'd make the screw heads all face the same direction to finish it off. (easier with hex) Nice metallic paint finish!

Cheers mate, really pleased with the paint job! Dunno 'bout lining all the heads up though, bit obsessive?... us lot?...Never!... I'll do it tonight

Ditto lining the screw heads up, only other saddos will notice but really does make a difference.

Okay! All done Also tarted the front end up (grille and headlight surrounds) today...I don't think I aligned all the self tappers up though...f*ck! Going fishing tomorrow....
