Very simple question..... driving me crazy!

I have a 2007 Defender (Puma)

Should the dash clock light up???

I seem to recall it did, but i wonder if my mind is playing tricks on me!
Can a fellow owner confirm/deny this for me.

Exactly what i thought.

It went in to local Landy garage to fix broken wiper linkage. Came back without the clock lighting up (with lights on), but the clock still works.
I have removed centre console - it was all wired up but the wire had a huge kink in it like it had been trapped somewhere.... wondering if that is the cause.
It drives me crazy as i have to drive for hours in the dark

You should be able to check the light bulb and/or change it easily enough ... unless you have just got a hole in the back of the clock where the lamp should be.

I could do that, but i will take it back to guy who stopped it working as he said he will look at it......
