Hi all,

Can you tell me if the propshaft sits concentrically in the VCU support bearing or at the bottom of it (due to gravity presumably)?

If it's meant to be concentric then are new bearings the answer?

The weight of the VCU and prop does cause the VCU hang low in the bearings after a while, as long as the rubber is sound and the bearings quite it's of no consequence.

If I'm replacing the VCU am I right in thinking that I undo the front end first & support then the rear end & support. The the VCU bearings & take it out in one piece.
