Various Gearboxes/ Transfer boxes

Hi all,

For sale is the following, located near Ashbourne:

Disco LT77 Gearbox- G suffix, so a good strong box. Covered 130k. With or without V8 bellhousing.

Genuine Defender LT77, good condition. Removed due to engine change. No bellhousing.

Genuine Defender LT85- Noisy Layshaft Bearings- needs a rebuild. With or without V8 Bellhousing.

Genuine Defender LT230 Transfer box. Good condition, with diff lock. Removed to fit a Disco T-box.

V8 Bellhousing (another one...)

They've all got to go- make me an offer!

Hi Steve, I am after a LT77S gear box, transfer box and bell housing for a 3.5V8, do you still have some, how much? I am only down the road in Hemel so can easily collect.

youd be better with g suffix rather than h(s type)if posssible

TBH I'm not that clued up on gearboxes, whats the difference? It's for a CCV project not a road car.

not much you can see but h has a compound baulk ring set up on 1st and 2nd with 2 thrust washers that often break ,g is more bullet proof as it doesnt
