Anyone had a VVT fitted...? If so what are you're thoughts and where did you get it from and how much..? Thinking of going for it myself as it's really the only other thing I could do to mine.

do you mean you already have the larger intercooler fitted?... as that's the first upgrade you must have IMO... i saw only VNTs fitted to Td5 not VVT, ... IMO doesnt worth the money and/or the hassle

quality remap with performance intercooler is enough for the Td5 engine power and management type

Morning Sierra. Yes I've got the intercooler and turbo boost box be remap upgrade. I just hear about the VVT or VNT, which I assume is Variable Nozzle Turbo, which I thought was the same thing. I must say I can be a bit of a perfectionist if I set my heart on something so I just wanted to improve the low down driveabilty even more. I bought my D2 with the remap etc already fitted (Alive Tuning, who fortunately I usually use) and I'm getting Gary from Alive to come out to change the map more for my driving style where I prefer torque over power. It may be after that I'll not bother but I just read a bit aboutthe VVT's and there doesn't seem to be much independent views on them. I can get a VVT for around £700. With regards the cost I can console myself in the fact I got my D2 at a steal, so don't mind spending because I want up keep hold of this one as it's a good one. There you go, I've gone and done it now....!
