Hello, I recently purchased a used '88 90 2.5 and just getting back into car repair after a few decades of hiring mechanics so a bit rusty with regard to engine work. Here's my problem(s) The vapour separator on the bulk head has fittings for 3 hoses to attach to it. The fitting on the bottom of the pot has no hose attached to it, nor is there a loose end of a like size hose floating around the engine compartment... It must go somewhere.. any ideas?
Also, the overflow at the base of the carburetor has a short hose attached, and is simply dangling from the base of the carb. What does this attach to? The engine seems to run fine, but I am curious about the missing bits.
