Vacuum pump breather line blocked off

Hi everyone,

Recently bought a 2003 TD4 diesel 2.0. I went to service it and when looking to put the turbo breather filter on realised there was no hose to attached it it. It seems to have been blocked off. Any ideas why this would be the case? Should I remove the blank and pop a hose on it?

Just incase anyone else has this issue in the future. I took off the plastic piece that was blocking one of the line which would normally be the turbo filter. I attached a hose and the filter and reattached the other hoses to the vacuum pump. Great change to the car, all MAP values are now good and it’s not sluggish anymore. Hope this helps.
