I have a 94 RR classic lse witht he 4.2 v8 and although its on lpg its still pretty exspensive to run and has the tank in the boot which takes up to much space for my liking :(
I bought a rot box disco the other day and now have them both in the shed awaiting the conversion :)
I'm sure its going to all come together when i start taking them apart but was wondering if there was a thread anywhere on the site that could help me on the way? I've tried using the search but cant really find anything deffinate.
I'm guessing i'll have to swap the mounts from the disco to the RR but i ahve a welder so thats not a prob.

Will the wiring looms swap over?
Can i make the cruise control work? (bit gay i know  )
I want to put the manule box in it too but what transfer box is best?
And what can i do about the rev counter?

Just a few of the many question i hope you lot can help me with ;)

Cheers Matt. :)

rev counter normally taken off w terminal of alternator for diesel motors, where are you and whats happening to 4.2 as interested

So will the v8 counter in the dash work? I'm guessing the red line will be differant :)
I'm in north essex mate and the 4.2 will be up for grabs. The lpg conversion too but its only a single point system.
I'd love to keep it v8 as its seems the done thing to do but once i price a decant lpg system for it and maybe a freshen up for the v8 the diesel just seems the to good a bargin.

should still work as fed from alternator.

As for the v8 if it's tidy and not too many miles i'd be interested in it ecu etc etc depending how much.
