Now thats a good find mate, thanks.
Are you saying that the LGR100330 matches the BMW Part Number but for a 2X?
Whats a 2X mate?
.....

Re-read my post buddy....

The 113...part number comes up with the link I posted for 8x lifters.....but in the advert they say it is for the 520, 523, 525, 528 engines....but they do say it is a compatible part for the BMW part number that matches the Range Rover and BMW product.

I then posted two further links for a set of 32 for about £150 or singular ones at about £12 each.....

Got it, 2X = 6 cylinder bmw (20/23/25/28).
Sorry, I read things sometimes that don't sink in lol.
Thanks Saint.
P.S. I'm still a bit lost on LGR100330 lol

Scrap lol.
New air meter needed, getting lifters this week then it's going in cos it's too heavy to be down on power because of the cam timing lol

Morning Ant, that's worrying ...
I have now got a Tap Tap Tap:(
I am hoping it's a follower that needs bleeding because of my short journeys.
I tried revving it's nuts off yesterday and noticed a lot of water came out of one exhaust pipe and then both but it's clean water not coolant and definitely not using coolant
Sometimes the tapping just goes away on idle and sounds like a sewing machine again.
Chassis ear seems to think it is cam cover area passenger side.

Well I have been using sport mode and giving it a damn good thrashing up the motorway as I normally drive like a pansy and the tapping has stopped so i think it was a follower.
I do slow short journeys and no sport mode and I don't think the engine appreciates it so i gave it something to hang its tea towel on and it has been driving really well, more responsive that i can ever remember so have blown some cobwebs out. I do remember an old tractor on the farm i worked on when i was a kid, that went really well just before it seized and so did my 50...

Maybe you should do what John Cleese did in one of the Fawlty Tower episodes ..............hit it with a tree branch across the bonnet, now that's a proper tune up!
