me i wouldnt bother on the rover lump...too old fashioned...
BUT if you must an m90 or m112 off a jag will do just fine..make an adapter to mount s/c on that fits onto an efi manifold and fuel inject...would bother using carb..too reasons..
one efi is better!
two easy diy s/c mount onto efi manifold,not so easy on carby..
then you would need to get alterd crank pully to take a 6rib or 8 rib or toothed (like cam belt) belt to drive s/c

but i wouldnt bother..i running 400 odd hp from stock 1uz-fe i have s/c in my rangie and i get better mpg than you do on your stanard 3.5l
