hi guys took the themosat off the engine.
dropped in boiling water, and opened slow.
gave it a couple of pushes with a screw driver.
poured water in again and opened straight away.
put back on the car problem solved run for half an hour no overheating and a good flow through the rad.
will take it for a spin tomorrow and see how it goes.
