hello out there just wondering will a rover p6 3.5 v8 engine fit onto a series 3 v8 stage 1 Lt95 gearbox

thanks for the help, need to know will the V8 work with LT95 gearbox without any modifications to prop shaft etc as its a swb series 3 and this is my 1st project.any advice will be appreciated
