V8 prop and flange on to 300 tdi???

Hi I have got thru two rotoflex on my 300 tdi disco, the flange to diff has a bit of play,
I have the option of a prop and flange from a 3.9 v8 disco, with double UJ's,
will this fit and what difference is it to have the latter prop as opposed to the rotoflex one, I.e. why does the 300 tdi have different setup to the v8?

Yes it will fit if you also fit the 4 bolt pinion flange. A 3.9 V8 has more power and torque so would distroy the rubber in days although the early 3.5 with carbs had the rubber thingy i believe.
