Hi guys,

I have a 99 Disco 2 manual V8 and when I noticed the clutch master cylinder was leaking inside the car I had it replaced but now the clutch pedal gets stuck 3/4 of the way up and then eventually comes up to meet your foot. Sometimes I need to lift the clutch pedal the last 1/4 with my foot to get it up. It is incredibly annoying and I really need to get it sorted.

After replacing the master TWICE! and the slave by proffesionals it stills does the same thing!

Now I know it is very difficult to bleed the system so presuming it has been can anyone offer any advice as to what the actual problem is?

-A spring on the clutch pedal?

-Clutch pedal and brake pedal system are linked inside the cab and not everything was put back correctly once the master was in place?

Appreciate any help - thanks

remove trim so you can check pedal spring ,if you unclip rod for master you should find pedal springs back to top when lifted from floor by hand as spring goes over center

Hi

Well I have just checked the spring as per the above instruction and the spring is good and does centre over. I will connect up again and see if there is any improvement.
