Hi all, could anyone tell me which is the best diagnostic tool for my vehicle. I've been doing some research which only confuses me more!! I probly can go up to £400 but if there was something just a good but cheaper that would be most welcome. Thanks, Steve

Foxwell will do all LR products and jaguar, on the same bit of kit, about £130 if you shop around.
I'm not the only one who has got one and thinks they're good.

Thanks 'Stanleysteamer'. Which model do you have or think is the best? Will it reset the 'dreaded' air suspension inactive code? I will message them but prefer to get honest opinions for people who have used them. Cheers

Bmw inpa works with everything on the 2002-2005.
Engine, codes, adaptions, live data
Gearbox, codes, adaptions, live data
Abs, codes, adaptions, live data
Air suspension, codes, adaptions, live data, calibration, tight tolerance mode ect.
Immobiliser ews system
Air bags
Radio
Sat nav
Steering angle sensor
Light module
Rain sensor module
Will connect to anything in the RR

Basicly everything you will need except recode an ignition key as far as iv figured. It works on a laptop and Windows 10. Costs about 20 quid for a usb to obd2 k-dcan/ cable. Software can be had online free. Set up is easy just need to go in control panel and change 2 simple settings on how the driver works and thats it.

^ Now that sounds like a winner for the money no excuse not to have diag at that price its a no brainer to have even as an add on to existing diag:)

There is everything it will communicate with on the l322. 2002-2005
I have inpa installed on a small notebook pc, so out of interest what are the changes in control panel ? I have also had a look at suspension on it and have a lovely bar graph thing pop up with pump pressure, volts and all four corner heights on it the right rear showing off the scale high when in fact that corner is way down and have yet to work out how to adjust heights on it.

If the graph shows high but car is low can the sensor be put on upside down?
just a thought as i know not a lot about l322 air suspension.

I will plug mine in tonight and take pics to show you. I wouldnt worry about the scale for now. For mine to raise the input was a - figure..

If its already communicating with the engine ecu and a body/chassis ecu no control panel changes needed.

@stustrong will the inpa be good on an e91 dozzel, i have a Delphi clone but it only gives code numbers that i have to them google.
It will be you can get into shadow codes too which helps. Usually you get bmw sepific codes you will have to find/google as the discriptions are usualy in german.
If you do use it on the e91 Google inpa and baby bmw they have a mostly translated list.
