Classic V8 head rear core plug - anyone replaced with engine in situe?

Hi guys,
Has anyone replaced the core plug on the rear of a 3.5Efi Flapper RRC cylinder head while the engine is in the vehicle?
Really dont fancy taking the engine or cylinder head off this one (again)
Any help greatly recieved please.

You'll have to ask a grown up, but I seem to remember them being threaded ?

Which makes it a PITA ...

From this diagram, it look like there is three core plugs

There are 3 core plugs in the back of the block, but the cylinder head has one either end about 20mm in size. The next issue would be if the hole it seats in is damaged, how to hone it and fit something bigger...

If you do have to pull the engine at least it won't cost you in gaskets and bolts?

Can't help thinking that taking the head off is going to to be the easiest option.
