V8 Exhaust touching crossmember

A while ago I changed the cats because mine were rattling a lot. The new cats touch the crossmember/gearbox mount where the two pipes join into one. It now vibrates a bit and makes an annoying sound on idle.

I've attached a photo showing where it hits the crossmember. I've put some exhaust wrap underneath it for now just to stop the annoying sound it makes at idle. The old exhaust didn't touch at this point.

Is this just a case of a ****ty quality aftermarket part or something out of alignment?

yeah crappy pattern part, I fell for it too, bought a new exhaust and the pipe into the back box was occupying the same space as the tyre, we had time so we just cut/welded it to where it should have been.
