I have a 3.5 litre v8 90 but this was originaly a 1986 2.5 petrol, now i have a discovery 3.5 to replace my current engine, now i cannot tell if the engine mountings have been changed but i know the chassis mountings are original so will this be a straight swap or will i need to change some mountings, thanks

if it was v8 before it will be a striaght swap,but v8 chassis mounts dont sit in the same place as a 4 cylinder and arent the same mount

mounts are totally different on v8 block due to its width
