I couldn't tell you what the changes are!

I know that catalysed cars have a narrower AFR range than non cat vehicles and running the incorrect map with cats can damage them and vehicles after 92 should be tested on cat test which has much tighter limits so it helps to know your tester if switching to non car tune :D

Unfortunately don't know what the Saudi or ROW specs are, would be nice to know.

My thoughts exactly texpis.

Spot on with the tune resistors but cant see it changing things to the extents that you detailed in your earlier posts. Would definitely be worth while finding out exactly what the garage did.

Sorry guys been either busy with work or sorting truck out.

This is the bit that was taken out and replaced with another from EH Douglas.

All I can say is that my emissions where at 13% and after several attempts with different thing it came down to 6% after fitting this the emissions are 0.03% and I'm getting a few more mpg too.

Do you know or can you find out what colour the cables are of the tune resistor they fitted?

I'm going to guess white :) but please confirm.

Yes it does, it didn't but bought them and refitted lambada sensors which had been cut out too.

Basically cats and lambdas had been removed and green resistor fitted to correct fuel map for non cat

The car would/should pass the pre-cat test @3% CO then, although ideally should be tuned to 0.5% CO

with cats and for a cat test the CO limit is much lower, less than 0.1% CO.

CO can be trimmed using the adjuster screw on the MAF, basibally the CO output gives and idea of the mixture.

Stupid things is when the previous owner removed the cats he should have left the lambdas in and the white tune resistor lol

Main things though is that you have got it sorted and now have the correct tune resistor for your setup.

I presume you are not running on LPG?

There was a blue resistor fitted with no cats or lambadas, I fitted cats and lambadas and emissions where very high until the new resistor was fitted. I'm happy and truck drives like a dream.
