I know that there are a couple of methods for removing this however they are not available to me.
The engine is not in a vehicle so I cannot use the starter motor method, and it does not have a fly wheel fitted so I cannot wedge something in the teeth of that to stop it turning either. Any suggestions?

Does any one local to Warwick area have the correct locking tool for the crank that I could borrow, or does anyone have any plans/photos of a home made version?

Almost worth buying an electric Clarke impact gun, you'll probably find it useful for loads of things once you have it. I haven't used mine on a crank bolt yet, but they do get good reviews, certainly has plenty of power. You could try your local friendly garage, or use a chisel.

screw 2 bolts in flywheel with several flat washers scew in tight get some one to put bar between bolts while you undo bolt or can you make locking plat out of flat steel with handel
