v8 90 axle swap

hi guys
i have an original county v8 90 and the rear axle casing is leaking also the spring brackets are rather ripe , so i need th change it , mine has rear drum brakes so would like an axle with discs , not sure if its 10 or 24 spline ,
could i swap this out for a discovery 200 or 300tdi ? and would i have any diff ratio issues

either would fit id go for 300 tdi which is 24 spline ,diff ratios are all the same

ok thanks for that , would the same apply to the front axle ? and is 24 spline better than 10 spline ?

yes ,24 is stonger and gives more choice of wheels as hub ends are narrower

thas y some wheels dont fit then alloy wheels is this the case iff so fair play
