Believe it is coming from the arrowed bit, but not sure - it hasn't been dismantled yet.

Guys, finally got my V6 sorted. No longer does she drink water like there's no tomorrow and show inconsistent temperatures.

The thermostat housing needed replacing and following a pressure test on the cooling system, there were quite a few leaks found in the hoses. This has now all been replaced and she's running like a dream!!

sorry Marwood - just re-read the above - it is a "Y" reg 2001 plate.

Hi Andy - glad it has gone good. Suggest you seriously consider this tho - just in case....
