HAVE A V6 FREELANDER X REG HAS THE 3 LIGHTS ON AND THE BRAKE LIGHT AS WELL , ALSO AFTER DRIVING FIVE SIX MILES SMOOTH UO TO THAT POINT STARTS SHUDDERING THROUGH WHOLE CAR LOSS OF POWER , HOLDING BACK , REAR DIFF IS HOT BEEN ADVISED TO GET NEW ONE ANY IDEAS , READ ABOUT TWO MAIN WIRING HARNESS CONNECTIONS BEHIND STEREO ANY IDEAS PLEASE :doh::doh:

downloaded a small program off internet and plugged laptop in obd11 socket results were picking up a problem with abs modulator so ordered one from ebay as land rover were wanting £1800 plus vat for one thought it didnt last long for car only done 56,000 miles

Shuddering probably rear prop bush-not expensive.
ABS modulator-you may have jumped in a bit early...there are loads of things that could bring up modulator fault-if its wiring they can be repaired..i know a man who can.
Hot diff-is there oil in it?
Brake light-hand brake light switch?
What programme did you download?

The brake lights are on all the time, as well as 3 amigos?

Sounds like a brake pedal switch...
