V6 Heater matrix

My heater matrix started leaking after replacing the thermostat housing, and I couldn't be bothered to sort it at the time given the hassle.

But now it's getting cold

Checking online it looks like the V6 matrix is more expensive than the other models.
Is it really different to the others? Or are the suppliers just trying it on?
I suspect the first answer!

Cheapest I can find is one on eBay for about £63 - anyone have a cheaper source?

(Ok the cold has shrivelled my wallet)

I can't see why the V 6 would be any different to the 4 cylinder models tbh but with LR who knows??

IIRC the V6 matrix is the same as fitted to the TD4. They just seem to fail more often on V6's! 18 months ago a matrix from LR was just under £200, the problem was the cost of fitting - with the matrix some £500/£600.
It's a pity I don't know where our V6 ended for breakiing - it had a brand new matrix in it!
