can any 1 tell what the part is called where the fan sensor goes its aluminium ive gross threaded the sensor what goes int it and it leaks i need to get art to day
 
Haynes describes the temperature sensor on the 1.8 petrol (Its information controls the fans, among other things) as being attached to the 'coolant outlet elbow at the front left hand end of the cylinder head'.

Hope that helps.
 
If you need the part that quick, a main dealer will be able to find it on their exploded parts diagram. I know some don't like using main dealers, but prices are not that bad for small things. Next day collection if they need to order it.
