URGENT : help finding a weird T-piece!

Hi guys,
A bit desperate here.
on my freelander 1 td4 2003 AUTO, there is a t-piece connected as I understand, to the intercooler. It is broken and i am loosing coolant faster than i can refill (1l / hour). It's just dripping on the ground as soon as the engind warms up...

LR will not supply it except as part of a complete set of hoses sold at a ridiculous price (£200). a third party sells the kit for less but still £100 for a £5 connector! I have searched everywhere i could, i can not find the bloody part...

Here are ref pictures of the culprit, i'd be REALLY grateful if anyone can help!

Is it not repairable with epoxy?

I've had success with various plastic parts that have cracked and buffed them back clean with emery and a good dollop of epoxy in the crack and over its surrounding area have fixed them.

There are other other chemical plastics that set hard, stuff like "plastic padding" and I think there are even some self curing pastes and putties out there too, worth a trip to Halfords for a look at what they got in the parts bins.
 
I'd be inclined to agree with DD some epoxy wouldn't do any harm as a temp repair while you either save for the "kit" or that little T shows up on its own.
 
Actually the bit has already been botched as an emergency fix, while I was digging for a replacement, but the fix failed after 2 weeks. Now the only solution is to either find one or bite the bullet and break the piggy bank for a stupid little part...
 
Looks like you'll have to raid the piggy.. ;)

Fit a standard "T" piece to larger bore pipe, utilise the 90 degrees as per original and then get some reducers to the smaller bore, all in shouldn't cost more than about £10 from Halfords/motorfactors as you can get selection box kits of elbows and "T" pieces and they do short lengths of pipe too so you could within reason get it sorted tomorrow.

But you forget this is a LAND ROVER!! if you don't use OEM they have a hissy fit..

I would of, however Suggested Duck tape but that would of been a bit ot specialist and tratter type for the freelanderers ;)

Not going there, looked at a mint 1999 FL1 Friday, got some curling tongs, clippers and straighteners on order and I ought to be able to get hair dye from Savers or Super Drug as an when I need it ;)

But cost effective solution is to use standard T and then reduce the bore off one end to meet your needs ;)
