uprated intercooler.

Im thinking of fitting an Alisport uprated intercooler but as I have air con fitted to my RRC 300TDi (which I want to keep as we are traveling down to spain next year) I can only buy the smaller unit.Can anybody tell me if these are worth fitting at a cost of around £300 or is the power increase not noticeable,or should I forgo the air con and go for the full size thing and open the windows for 3 weeks of the year.

Jeremy Fearn is the man you need to speak to in Beeley, Nr Matlock, Derbyshire, there is nothing he does not know about intercooling and he could make one fit yours anyway. Personally, bigger the better. He made one for mine which sat behind the rad and was just as big.

Yes it DID have air con and i'm sure the other ones he did had aircon, you will be surprised what he can do. I sold my RRC but i think the intercooler went infront of the rad, stainless tubing and silicone hoses, it was a proper job.

Thanks Kevin I have had a look on his website.The intercoolers are a little dear for me at £600 +vat so I will push on with the alisport one at £300 if I can get any more info on it.Thanks again anyway....
