That looks very nice old chap!

As for your insurer, I'd defo tell them about all mods and leave nothing out! If you leave them any latitude at all then you're potentially asking for major stress in the event of a smash. If in doubt, I'd tell them about any mods and get it documented back from them in writing. Negotiating the implications of those mods on your premium is another matter entirely, but you have to tell them.

Looks good, v.nice...

Look into specialist insurance, you will get it cheaper than normal with all mods declared amd will cover you off road/green laning.

Just had a fun day! First went to fit the EGR blank and all went to plan, except the kit that I got does not include the two extra blanks for the heat exchanger. I just left it unplugged with the coolant in and out left as they are. Removed EGR unit and plugged the two vac pipes with two screws and unplugged the modulators. The fun began when fitting the manifold blank. I don't have a torque wrench so was doing it by eye. I sheared off one of the bolts fixing the blank!!!. What to do? How do I get it out? Fkn Stupid I know but that's not where it ended I then proceeded to remove the cat , after removing all the fixings I realised that I couldt remove it even when the car was jacked up, no wigilling will free it!!! Do I have to cut it out? I attempted to remove the cross member but the first bolt I tried stripped like it was made of butter. :( anyone have anny advise?

Looks good. Where is the chequer plate from?

Have been looking for some new stuff & realised there are loads of variations in shape, size and thickness on eBay....

Chequeres are from Mamoth, went for the 3mm stuff real great kit, all fixing where included I got the gasket kit for the wings but ended up not using them, waist of money. It simply looks better without them.
As for the security ,Have a friend who works in insurance and has promised me a free tracker since the day I got I it... But you know how those things go :) Sill hopefull though.
I have also fitted a hidden thing or two... It wil not start without me. want to get a clutch claw, are they any good?

The mamouth stuff is really nice, I fitted some to a mates landy the other day. The only thing you need is longer screws for the wing top vents...but it's an excuse to buy stainless ones :)

clutch claws are good, i would look at something that covers all of the pedals, either the 'ardcase or the pedal lock from adrenalin 4x4. These make it a lot harder to hacksaw the pedals and drive away on the 'stubs'. Consider buying a disklock also.

Stretched her legs on the motorway today. She just topped a tone! Didn't want to push it further as I have no tachometer. Does anyone know of one that will drop into the clock dial space? And what's the procedure for hooking it up with the ECU on TD5?
Thanks
