Hi all

I have a P38. We are currently on tour with a heavely loaded car. When I have all our stuff packed, the EAS keeps on blowing a fuse. When empty there are no problems.

Does anybody know if I can fit coils on the back together with the bags, just to help with the load?

I also see the free EAS software has a thing called "transport" on or off. What is that for?

Thanks

aside from the fuse blowing, are you sure you are under the kerb weight for the car? i would assume if the load is too much for the fuse then its too much for the car and potentially dangerous. most scrap yards will let you nip on the weigh bridge for a fiver just to see how much your car weighs. then you can work out how much to take out. dont forget the weight of all passengers too!

i'm guessing the pump is overheating, you could do a lot worse than try a new piston seal and filters for EAS

The thermal sensor on the pump went, so I bypassed it. I also had the pump serviced, but don't know what they did.
The problem seem to be the condition of our roads. Lots of potholes. So every time I go through one, the fuse blows. I think it is due to the temp extra weight on the suspension. The fuse doesn't go straight away, normally 2 to 3 km after hitting the hole.

The other problem is that we only get the complete pump and not the parts as you lucky people do and that is very expensive.

why not order the parts from the uk, if you pay by visa or paypal and arrange postage there shouldnt be a problem!
