Re: 2001 4.6 hse how to clear ''slow 35 mph max''
Well whats the differince between using the wire jumper and installing the thing they sell 4 it? I dont want to jump it out and have prob. Wit the becm or it not pass emissons test so should i just suck it up and buy it or does it do the same thing as a jumper. IM KINDA LOST. AND ALSO THERES NO SHOCKS IN THE FRONT AND I DIDNT SEE ANY PLACE WARE THEY WOULD GO AND IT SEEMS KINDA BOUNCY DO I HAVE TO FAB UP SOME BRACKETS 4 THEM OR IS THERE A SPOT 4 THEM THAT I MISSED.

to clear the "EAS Fault, slow 35mph max" warning from the dash, put two jumpers on the connector to the ECU. one from pin 7 to pin 18 (ground ) and the other from pin 25 to pin 1 (+12v). When you startup you will get a soft beep and short "EAS manual" message, then normal message center operation will resume.-
edit.-LEAVE THE ECU DISCONNECTED!!!!!!

this will work anytime the ECU is disconnected -IE when in hard fault, waiting to get a reset and using manual operation. (or a spring conversion perrish the thought...)

iv done all of these things and its still sloww 35 mph. i bought a recently fitted spring kit of a range rover in scrap yard have fitted it exacttly as i took it off. the only thing i havent done was the ride height sensors had been cut of the doner car. is this also need or not. i like to see my dash with no warnings sign and be able to see how many mile im not getting in it to fuel ration thanks help please
