I recently bought a 95 Disco with 120k miles. I replaced distributor cap, roder, wire set, spark plugs and ignition coil. I did this as part of a tune up. I was not happy with the idiol running rough initially but now the idol jumps up and down until the truck gets to running tempeture and then it runs pretty steady. I took the truck into the dealer to set the timing thinking that I might have moved the distributor as I was swapping out the roder. The dealer set the timing per the specs but I'm still having the issue.
What can be causing this jumping of the idol?
