I am trying to work out what bits I am missing from the spare wheel mount on the rear bulkhead (behind the truck cab) of my defender 90 pick up (a TDCI 2009 Puma model). I have attached a photo of something called a bracket rubbing (part no MUC1649) and which looks (from the attached drawing) as though it forms part of the mounting kit. Does anyone know if the 'bracket rubbing' is part of the mount? If it is then where abouts does it fit to the remainder of the kit.

I dont think it is very important, I made my own one of those, out of an old bonnet mount, and the tyre just rests against the bulkead, it hasnt been a problem.

But if you do want to fit the thing, I would guess it goes behind the wheel, straddling the mounting plate, and pushed against the inside of the wheel to hold it off the paint on the bulkhead.
