I got 2008 Freelander 2 and I got really mad about a problem which has been occuring for 6 months and hopefully I can explain in clear way. While I drive, the sound is coming out (park sensor sound) and the notices are coming after as `right door open, left door open, bonnet is open, HDC fault, engine fault, steering column locked` and so on. (but radio is working) And, the dashboard stops working together with signalization sounds, park sensor, door locks remain lock. After some time, the dashboard starts to work automatically and works till occurs again. When I try to touch the cables placed under the passenger side, it sometimes comes back to work, but sometimes no changes. I tried to upload the video but I faced with an error. Could you please give me advice if you experience this issue before?

Check the electrical connections for damage and corrosion at and around the fuse box behind the glove box. It sounds like an intermittent connection, which could well be in the area where all the electrics join.

Thank you so much for the reply. I forgot to write something else more about it. Actually the service checked a lot, even the dashboard. Unfortunately the problem is still repeating. On the cold weathers, the speakers are working sizzling, the headlights and the back light of the radio and dashboard light are blinking until the engine becomes warm level.

And sometimes, tailgate is not unlocking automatically and I have to use remote for it. Sometimes, left rear door is not unlocking too, so I have to press two times on remote.

What`s your opinion about additional problems? :(

As above, but check battery connections and earths, there very much looks a bad connection somewhere which is affecting lots of things - so shared electrics, such as batter, main earths and fuse box would seam sensible.

Sounds like you have multiple faults, from multiple components.
Door locks are a known weakness, I've got a faulty LH rear on mine. The best cure is to replace the locks that are given faults.
The boot switch in the exterior handle is another known week component, which gets damaged through corrosion, so needs replacing every few years. I had to do mine last year, as it went intermittent.

Check the battery to body earth cable, as corrosion can form around the bolt, giving a bad connection and random faults. Also add another earth cable from the battery to the engine or gearbox, as the engine earth cable is another known weak point.

Make sure the battery is in perfect condition, as a failing battery will also cause all sorts of strange faults.

Thank you All so much for Your kind consideration and prompt responses. Last year, I’ve changed the battery but blinking problem is still occuring cold weathers. I was thinking that operating of webasto makes those problems. I just forwarded your suggestions to the car service and I hope they will stop working on the brain.

Dear All. I`d like to update the topic and share my experiences on the current issue. During that period, I`ve noticed that this problem occurs when I drive rainy or snowy days. Looks like water comes inside and damages somewhere. Plus, while the dashboard is not working, if I open the front passenger door until the right angle, then all the system comes and dashboard starts to work.
I contacted with the official service and they recommended to take the door out and remove seats to follow the cables for recognize but they do not give any guarantee when its fixed. And they will be charging 500 TL per hour for only till they find the solution.
I will have to go back again to the industrial zone for cheaper solution but at least I understood that when it happens and where its coming from.
