Unplugged grey and black box under bonnet ?

Hi I was cleaning the engine bay today and noticed that the grey and black box attached to the top engine mount is not connected to anything ender the engine cover where the fuel rail and injectors are does anyone know what it is and where it should be plugged in please for some reason camt upload an image of the box
