Understanding my 3.5 V8 EFI

The britpart one I got won't do up tight.. just spins! Avoid

Today I drained/flushed the cooling system, fitted the new (BearMach is near) sensor and re-filled the system.

Ran the engine in idle, nothing more.


We'll have to see if it makes a difference.


At least I understand my 3.5 V8 EFI a bit better now!

ps. the plastic screw plug on top of the radiator is rubbish. Need no expanation.

I replaced both my plastic plugs with brass ones, don't cost much and the don't mangle when you need to get them off!

Took the V8 out today and noticed the difference !

Lower idle, nice!
No choking when asking for more power.
Better up hill
Reacts nicely to accelerator. Less movement needed!
Probably getting 1 or 2 miles extra speed when cruizing at 2750rpms (72 mph now and acually need to take foot off a bit) and it's humming again!

Probably better econ aswell.

Need no gas ! Need well tuned V8 !
