Two questions, first off does anyone know anywhere in Cheshire that does undersealing or is it easy to do yourself?

Second question if anyone does it themselves what do you use?

Cheers

just had mine done in Norfolk for £150 )

steam cleaned underside of car - let it dry for a day...then used a shultz gun on a compressor to spray Hammerite Waxoyl on all of the underside (excluding the exhaust of course)
Probably 10 times easier if you have access to a hydraulic ramp/lift otherwise it may prove difficult on your back under the truck due to lack of clearance!

I did mine myself last summer. Used the spray on waxoyl. well, started off as spray on then sprayer clogged up so painted it on. Its easy enough just very messy. Be much easier on a ramp or with a pit but i managed by just jacking car up one side at a time.
Good luck. Chris

Recently done mine with this stuff. Hippo on wooden ramps, 6 inches higher in the air than normal, using a 2inch paint brush. Make sure your in a well ventalated area, and wear old clothes/gloves. Some change £1k for this sort of thing. If I could get it cleaned and sprayed for £150, I'd snap their hand off. Nasty job, which I hate doing. Perhaps see if yer mrs will do it for you?

Edit: not the best product to use.

Yeah gonna service her and make sure she's at peak performance before remapping.

And yeah the snorkle will very rarely get any use but I'm a LR newbie and having a snorkle is a wet dream for me haha

What relevance does this post have on this thread?
