hi everyone, i have got our very cheap Freeelander now on the road after some work to it including two days to wash the dirt to find the colour, we have had it up on the ramps and to be honest for a 1998 it's in very good condition few scratches but very little rust.
We have replaced front discs and pads (there was no pads and about 2mm of disc) rear brake cylinders replaced (6.00ea from factors) rear window regulator replaced (30.00 ) Engine mount front top replaced (was in 4 Bits)
To do rear door handle to replace and the big question , noise from underneath in a straight line sounds like road noise (maybe a bit noisier) put it on full lock bang bang straigthen up noise goes away however the same noise appears under braking, can it be the viscous coupling damper that does look f*** to be honest your words of wisdom greatly appreciated
