yesterday after sitting in a long slow moving traffic jam ,my Freelander 2 started billowing white smoke into cabin and out of nsf wheel arch . Once stopped lifted bonnet and found a fire right hand rear of engine bay.
I threw a bucket of water at it which put out the fire.
land rover assist have taken car to garage, have to wait till Monday before they have a look at it.
has anybody had a similar experience ?
