right folowing on from chassis fred,this series 3 has been sat in a barn for 6 years,we put a new battery on,took apart the carb and cleaned it,disconnected fuel lines and put some fuel to the carb via a bottle,after 5 mins of turning over and a bit of spluttering the bloomin thing sprung into life and ticks over lovely,couldnt bloody belive it.

seeing as the bonnet strengh members and the top of the air filter are rusty i suspect the chassis isnt going to be mint - do the right thing, strip it down fully to the chassis and rebuild it properly so it lasts another 25 years
