Coastal Charity Drive - Taking a Landrover Discovery around the coast of Britain, approx. 110000 miles - for charity.

So there ya go guys get some stickers bought. May be a good idea to put a price up for ppl to see then that may just buy them due to the nice price.....

Also dont forget to Check out the Charity website. There is a forum in there aswell. If you goto the day to day button its the forum which when we set off will be updated day to day as we are on our UK tour....

If we manage to average 40mph that means about 11 hours a day driving... And his motor is a Auto.......AAARRGGGHHH I HATE AUTOS.....

Its obvious we not going to do every little road to get right near the coast otherwise we aint got a chance of doing it at all..... But we going to keep the Coast in view as much as possible.

I did make one request tho and that was to stop at Portmeirion in wales where they filmed the hit Sixties cult series THE PRISONER with Patrick McGoohan. Its just somewhere I have always wanted to go.....

I've been there a few times (used to live 10miles away) The new owners are trying to discourage Prisoner fans from visiting as they are attempting to cater for a more "discerning" class of customer. So you won't find much of a display about the TV series at Portmeirion, anymore. You can actually drive along the beach at BlackRock Sands. In fact it doubles up as the carpark.

We are after ppl saying we can get a shower at theres and goto the pub tho for the night with them.....lol

Bit far from the coast (40mins) but give us a shout when you have a rough idea of when you will be in the Bristol area.

Not long now.
One week left and I head for sunny scunny. I can't wait I want to go now. We got interviews with Radio Stations & Photo ops at quite a few different companys. If you get logged onto the forum you can watch our day by day progress. If we are in your area we will be happy to stop off to meet ya..... On the coast that is......

just met the guys on the charity drive , they spent a couple of hours in north wales with us and are now on their way up towards cumbria. i must say miniman wasnt as bad as i thought he was
