OK..having trawled thru the UJ posts i'm none the wiser..

I've got a ticking/clicking noise from the underside..not a bomb this time..seems to be regular and in time with the engine speed..if i dip the clutch it disappears..

I'm thinking its time to change the UJ's..agree or disagree?

Disagree. If ye dip the clutch and the noise goes away when in motion, then it's summit else... but take that lightly as me heids asleep and so should ah be!!;):D

mine was silent under load, used to rattle coasting, then dip the clutch and silence again, front prop uj fooked:doh:

Oh and to top it off its bin fooked before an sum ****s purra gob of weld over the edge of the uj:mad:

I never had any of those issues when mine were fooked, just a resounding clunk on acceleration, 2 of the bearings were just rusted powder when i took it out.

It's a simple job as you know Storm, and cheap anorl, so get it done and have a good look around whilst your doing it, one less thing to worry about.

If you don't have a bench vice to push em back in, use a clamp but don't hammer the fookers unless you pack the bearings with lots of grease, the rollers can come out and it's a pain hunting around for em on the floor ;)
