Okay guys & gals seeking some advice and saying hello........
Just bought a 2004 TD4 HSE for my (better) half that had a bit of a pull when driving. Put it down to soft tyres (they were soft). Sorted the pressures and, while much improved, there's still a slight tug to the left.
Had the tracking checked and it seems fine (looking over the kwik fit numbskulls shoulder and reading his charts).
Front tyre on passenger side is scrubbed on inside edge, other seems even but has some tyre wall damage.
Soooo going to replace the front tyres but what with? She will only use it on road. Many brands about but which would you recommend as worthwhile - want a decent set rather than budget.
It sits on 225/55/17
And finally any common faults with tracking or steering/suspension set up I should wonder about? Also how much influence do rear driven wheels have on steering for Freelanders?
Open to any helpful and useful suggestions!
