tyres for MOT

Hey guys,

I have 4 grizzly claws on steel rims fitted on my 300tdi Disco and the spare on the rear door is an alloy with a standard road tyre on.

Would this cause any problems with the MOT?

No - Spare tyre is not a testable item.

Well... They should test to make sure it is secure but apart from that

If are still abit un easy, take it off.

I thought that was the case, just making sure, MOT no until April so i will be keeping my eyes peeled on Fleabay for a spare... or if any one on here has one spare

I fort it was like Pikey usually sez - if it is there it has to be legal, but yu dont have to have one - so just take it off before the MOT and put it back on afterwards.

This inspection applies to
Tyres fitted to the road wheels only. The vehicle presenter should be informed when it is noticed that there is a defective tyre on a spare wheel
