hi guys tyres again. as many of you know im running my F.L in mondo mode but have a tyre issue. ive got Kumho Venture ATs 195R15s on the back but got a Michelin 4x4 synchrone 195 80 R15 ont the near side front and a Maxis Radial 751 195 80 R15 on the offside front. now i know the tyre issues but cant afford to replace at the mo so was thinking of putting the 2 matching rears on the front as these will now be the driving wheels and putting the others on the rear till i can get a new matching set. is this gonna be ok or a waste of time? im thinking the mis match on the rears should be ok as they are only in essence trailing now. any thoughts? cheers

Yes - matched pair on the front - braking will be balanced and steering will be equalised too. As you're now front wheel drive - what's on the back doesn't matter.

Yes it has been replaced with the Lattitude which isn't compatable with the Synchrone.
Synchrone's come up from time to time as many people do a complete tyre change but often have at least a decent spare which it worth hanging on to and selling separately. I sold an un-used Synchrone a few months ago when my wife changed from Synchrone's to Hankook's, sold it for £50 within an hour of posting it on Ebay.

yeh i cant even find one on ebay. will prob just have to change the 3 as a set when i can afford them. its a shame though as ive allways heard good things about the synchrone. ive got matching on the front so im happy for the mo and will just have to keep an eye out for another one and grab it when i find one or even better a nearly new pair. lol.
