Hi,

Following on from a previous thread about tracking my P38 diesel seems to wear the front tyres on the inside (I guess it needs the tracking looked at) what puzzles me is that the driver's side wheel is significantly more worn on it's inside edge than the passenger side. Does this suggest some problem other than just the alignment is out?

Thanks,

Hi Mike,

It may also suggest that the O/S wheel has a camber issue which can also cause edge wear, new to Land Rovers but I have seen this on other cars.

I would have a good look over the suspension just to make sure nothing is bent, although it may be difficult to tell.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. If one wheel is more out of alignment than the other I can't see how you correct for this as the only adjustment is on the drag link and this 'ought' to affect both wheels equally. It could be a camber issue, strange thing is I had the same thing on a classic and never managed to track it down (no pun intended). Maybe its the way I drive! :D
