Tyre Sizes

Hello Members. Can someone guide me on the diverse effect of using front tyres of size 255/60 R19 against the REAR ones as 255/55 R19. Just bought new tyres with the car about 2 months ago but one of the tyre got damaged but the specifications of 255/60 is not available on the Kenyan market. Please advise me if the suspension and sensors of the car may accept this?

Your rear wheels will have more rotation than fronts. Could cause instability etc but mostly stress to an expensive transmission if it’s 4wd.
If its 2wd no worries, if rears are new the 5mm difference is probably nothing with wear.

Think of it like this...tractors have bigger wheels on the back to apply traction, but usually smaller on front so they can turn sharp.
