Tyre sizes and wolf rims???????

Hello to all

Who out there is running 265/75/16 on a Wolf rim?

As far as I'm aware the widest you can get a Wolf rim is 6.5 inch wide witch is perfect for a 235/85/16 but is it to narrow for a 265/75/16?

If you do have these fitted to your landy how do the handle on the road?

I really like Wolf rim but i would also like a slighter wider tyre so if you have a photo pleas post it.

285/75/15 cooper discoverer got them with some rare wheels I wanted so fitted them to the 90 which already had wolfs on, handle okay dont slide about so much in the wet as the old XZL did, lost some steering lock which annoyed me but was expected, I personally dont like the look, but beggars cant be choosers.

You will need to be careful with insurance if you fit larger tyres to smaller wheels. I have 265/75 BFG's and wanted wolf rims but BFG explicitly say on the website that they are only suitable for rim widths 7"-8". If you have go against the manufacturers specifications you risk invalidating your insurance. For that reason I kept the modulars that I had and am currently refurbishing them to smarten it up.
