Tyre repair kit?

2002 Disco 2 auto.
great information, but I have another question?
I keep losing air through the alloy wheels. Probably need them all taken off and resealed by a tyre supplier.
What I am asking is there such a thing that I can put through the valve which will seal the tyres onto the alloy rim?
Something similar to the "get you home" aerosols but with a long time effect.
Anybody got any ideas please.

If the tyre is good and the rim undamaged get a tyre fitter to remove the tyre, clean the bead seating and refit tyre with sealant on the bead. I am not a fan of aerosol type sealants sloshing around inside, and don't think a tyre fitter appreciates being splattered when the tyre is being changed. If the wheel is porous I believe you can get a sealing paint to fix it.

If there were ever such a product then I am sure tyre companies would go out of business

Are you sure it is the wheels and not a leaky valve core?

It could be a slow leak from a puncture, could be a corroded bead not sealing, could be a porous rim, the list is so long that if it were me then I would be looking to get a pro on the job, and no I'm not talking about some old brass for £20

I've had the same problem on the bike, both before and after the wheel was repaired. It loses a couple of PSI a day. I'm going to try this, a few people I know use it and swear by it. It's supposed to be much better than the alternatives.

Dirk, something like that was what I was thinking.
Many years ago the work used similar stuff in our trucks.
Worked fine on road vehicles, not on tippers.
Only because most tipper punctures were severe damage and not straight punctures.
I put it in my caravan tyres and still in them 4 years later when I sold it.
If you do use the stuff remember to let us know how you get on.
