My front tyre went down so I pumped it up but its loosing air from where the tyre sits on the rim. Whats the best fix or should I just take it in somewhere ?

If their LR alloys, it's not likely to need reseating as these rims have safety lip inside to stop rim from breaking bead, possibly you have damaged it driving on it when it was flat, only takes a few metres.
It went down when it was parked out front waiting for me to sort the bad earth problem.Narrow road so have to park with near side on pavement. The offside front went down.

Last year, all 4 of my tyres were going down slowly. See thread http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f8/tyre-pressure-drop-porous-rims-67312.html

Tried re-seating on cleaned rims (the tyre fitter put sealant on the rims before refitting the tyres). Was a temproary repair - helped a bit but still porous.

In the end, I had all 4 wheels blasted & resprayed (company called techspray in Fife). Then new tyres (AT2's) all round.

Don't lose any pressure now!
