tyre pessures for 255/60/18 please???

hi there owned it a while it needs some air,and not in the springs(hurrah)can anyone tell us what psi 255/60/18,someones previousely posted 28 front 38 nrear but that was for 255/55/18,please help.

28 front 38 back.thats for 255-55-18s on a 4.6 .....could be the same for all in that size dont know if diff for the 2.5 or 4.0...

I run 29f38r on 255-60-18 AT2's

thanks i'll put all those numbers in a hat and pick some out,it would seem run what feels right 24psi on fronts seems a tad low though but worth a look to see how it rides?

As an additional comment, use a reliable pressure gauge, forecourt ones are notoriously inaccurate. Low pressures cause excessive fuel consumption, tyre wear, and sloppy cornering. High pressures cause tyre wear, and sudden breakaways. The carbibles.com/tyre_bible has a lot to say on this, and cuts thro` a lot of guff & mythology surrounding tyres.
